4. Start of the tournament will be announced by the tournament director.

6. The annual fish-off will be voted in after the tournament schedule is set based on nominations from the members under the following conditions:  Any nomination shall be less than a ten hour drive; nominations shall include information on the fishery, accommodations, and any information pertinent to that site.

Nominations will be discussed and voted on in December.

4.  (4-12-2005) E-Boards position on the boater rule: In the event a

member in good standing becomes a non boater for any reason that

person will be allowed up to six months to become a boat owner again

and remain in good standing, provided all other rules are adhered to

(I.e.; use of own boats for six tournaments). If at the end of six

months he is still a non-boater his membership will be suspended until

such time as he becomes a boater and returned to full membership

(provided space is available in our roster) without reapplying as a

new member.

Rule 1

1.      In order to receive credit for fishing a club tournament, a member must be in good standing. Dues and tournament fees paid prior to starting the tournament. If the club member doesn’t actually fish the tournament it will not count as one of the fished tournaments towards the fish-off but the member will receive his tournament points in accordance with rule 11b. (Below). To receive credit for FISHING a tournament a member must “Launch” his boat and be called out in the morning start. If the member chooses to leave at that point he has fished the tournament.

Normally entries fees will not be accepted after the close of the meeting it will be left up to the Tournament Director to allow a late entry. Members who pay their entry fee and then are unable to fish they will still receive their tournament points in according to Rule 11 B and 11 C.  But will not be counted towards the fish off.

 

B.            Late arrivals will only be penalized time lost. To receive credit for the tournament late arrivals must fish and be at the weigh.

How you receive Fishing Credit (POINTS) for a club tournament.

 

 A.    A member must be in good standing, have paid club dues and tournament fees                           to the club treasurer prior to the starting of the tournament.

 

 B.   To receive Full Fishing Credit for a club tournament and Credit for the Club Fish-Off, a member must Launch his boat and be called out in the morning start.  . If a member chooses to leave after the Tournament Start, at that point he is considered to have fished the tournament. Additional points may be earned in accordance with Rule # 6 D.

 

 C.   Any club member who has paid their club dues, tournament fees, and is in good standing, who is unable to fish or chooses not to fish that month’s club tournament, will receive a maximum of 3 points weather it is a one or two day tournament,  and will not receive Credit for the Club Fish-Off.  See rules 11B and 11C.

 

 

 D.   If for circumstance beyond your control, you are not able to make the morning start / call out, you should notify the tournament director that you will be late starting the tournament. It will be your responsibility to make personal contact with an e-board member to become elegable to fish.

A disqualification will result in forfeiture of all tournament points for that tournament day.

 

A.                   This will result in the lose of Tournament points and Fishing points accrued for that days fishing, as well as hat and shirt point.

 

B.                      A disqualification for that day’s tournament may occur after a 5 minute penalty period has expired. The penalty for arriving late shall be 0.8 Lbs. per fish per minute late up to 5 minutes. The timing will be monitored by a current e-board member. This rule would follow in line with the SOP # 5 that states “Weigh-in will begin after all boats are out of the water“. Attached to rule # 9 also.

 

Reasons for disqualification,

 

1.  Arriving late at tournaments end cut /off time. See rule # 9

You will still receive Fish-Off Credit

 

2.  A violation of state or local fishing and or boating regulations. See rule # 6

You will still receive Fish-Off Credit

 

3.  Violating club rules.

 

Only the Tournament Director in his good judgment can disqualify someone from a club tournament.
